The Diversity Initiative provides comprehensive employment services for both employers and job seekers.  In today’s challenging business climate, employers benefit from staff experienced in providing well-trained and motivated employees. We work with employers on identifying qualified workers, screening candidates, providing on-the-job training and job accommodation (ADA) assistance.

Job seekers are directed by qualified and experienced staff, designed to address specific requirements. We work with participants on career counseling, job readiness training, job development, placement & maintenance, and job accommodation assistance. Our staff will give you ideas and advice on filling out applications and interviewing for particular jobs and, with your approval, work with an employer to modify the job site and facilitate the provision of assistive devices to meet your needs. Your active involvement in job placement is important to successful employment. After you begin working, your Employment Consultant will continue to follow your case for a minimum of 90 days to ensure that you and your employer are satisfied with the placement.
