Ticket to Work |

Ticket to Work is a Social Security
Administration program for people ages 18-64 who receive Supplemental
Social Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance
(SSDI) or both. The goal of the program is to offer job services that
will assist eligible SSI/SSDI beneficiaries to enter the workforce and
gain more independence.
- BENEFITS:
- ■ If your cash benefits end because
of earnings, and you lose your job because of the same disability (within
five years), you don’t have to reapply for Social Security benefits.
- ■ Medical
reviews will be waived while participating in Ticket to Work.
- ■ You can
keep your Medicare or Medi-Cal benefits after cash benefits end.

FOLLOW UP:
■ Maintain contact for up to five years to ensure successful placement

OTHER RESOURCES/SERVICES:
■ Beneficiaries requiring training/education prior to employment or
supportive services will be referred to appropriate providers.
REQUIREMENTS:
■ Must
be receiving SSI or SSDI.
■ Must
be between 18-64 years of age.
■ Must
want to work.
■ Must
be available to work.
